Sector 9 Luke Nosewalker 55" Complete Longboard - Multiple Colors Avail
If you like longboard surfing, then this is your board! At 55 inches this is the biggest board in the Sector 9 catalogue. This board is definitely made for cruising around the street. The board has a slight concave that runs almost the entire length of the board, but does flatten out slightly before the kick tail. Even though it may seem odd to have a kick tail on a board of this size, it does give the rider the ability to lift up the nose of the board to turn sharper in true longboard fashion. You can ride this board in a variety of positions, whether it be hanging ten on the nose, right in the middle, or farther back to swing that nose around in turns.
The trucks it comes with are the Gullwing Mission 1 trucks that ride very loose. This makes the board feel very free, and when coupled with the 61mm/78A wheels this board gets the surfing feel down. The wheels may seem to be small at first, but the trucks are made to be very loose. When turning this board it can come very close to wheel bite, which is why the wheels are 61mm. This helps the board to avoid wheel bite, which means you won’t come flying off when you turn around the corner. The Abec 5 bearings will last you a while and give you a great ride. They are a sealed bearing, which will help to keep dirt out and let the bearings last a long time. This is definitely a cruising board, and it will give you a great smooth ride.
